Have a boozy brunch and learn about Cretan olive oil and wine!
What better way to start your day than a wine and olive oil brunch tour! We pick you up in Chania and surrounding areas and head far west to the tiny village of Astrikas where we find Biolea Olive Oil Mill.
Biolea is one of the only olive mills in the Mediterranean that produces olive oil with stone mills and a press. We’ll enjoy a extensive tour where you’ll learn everything you never knew you needed to know about olive oil.
After the tour, we’ll sit in the beautiful patio area of Biolea with a view of the gorge, mountains, and ancient villages. It’s here we’ll have a four course brunch menu from many ingredients grown at the estate. Fresh farm eggs (we can go see the chickens, too!), seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh made pitas and breads, locally sourced meats and dairy items, and of course, lots of Biolea’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
We’ve carefully selected wines that will pair with each course featuring the best Cretan wines.
The menu and the wines will change depending on the fruits and vegetables that are in season.
After brunch, we’ll make a stop at the oldest olive tree in the world. With your new knowledge of everything olive oil, you’ll fully understand olive oil history and production.
Duration is 4-5 hours.
Price per person is 105€. Minimum 4 people.

This tour includes pick up from your accommodation in Chania Town and surrounding areas. If you are staying outside of Chania, transportation may be possible for an additional fee.
