Have a perfect day wine tasting in Chania with us! Since 2017, we’ve been showing guests the amazing Cretan countryside and its delicious wines. We are a husband and wife team. Vasili is a vineyard owner and winemaker. Anna Maria is a Certified Sommelier and wine writer. Together we provide the best wine tour experience in Chania.
We offer private and semi-private tours, full day, half day, wine tasting walking tours, and evening tours. You can choose from visiting wineries and vineyards, olive oil mills, and historical sites, or spend a day in our own personal private vineyards.

Who We Are
We are Vasili and Anna Maria, the owners and operators of Chania Wine Tours. We are a husband and wife team who were born and raised in the United States but have returned to our ancestral home of Crete, so yes, we speak perfect English. We are both passionate wine people. Vasili has recently revitalized his grandfather’s vineyards and makes some kick-butt wines from the indigenous grape variety, Romeiko. You can find him among his vines or tending his bees when he’s not showing you the beauty of Crete. Anna Maria is a Certified Sommelier and Wine Educator who has been involved with the Greek wine industry for over 15 years, which is bizarre since she looks 25. She is committed to promoting the quality wines of the island through her tours and her blog unravelingwine.com.
